I can only use a few keys at the same time: (Example not able to strafe while shooting)

Most keyboards have some hardware limitation on the number of keys that can be pressed in some area of the keyboard. These limitations vary from keyboard to keyboard, so it is impossible for us to say which keys will be able to be used together.

If this happens to you, try changing your key configuration. You should be able to find a configuration that will not limit your skills!

When running XSW I get:
org.lwjgl.LWJGLException:
Could not find a valid pixel format Exception in thread "main"...

This exception most likely is caused by a missing or outdated OpenGl driver for your graphics card. Try googling for "graphics card name" + OpenGl driver to see if you can find a more recent driver.

On really old graphics cards there might not exist an up to date OpenGl driver, or it might lack the performance needed, then we regret to say the only solution is to purchase a more modern graphics card.

XSW runs slowly (frame update is sluggish):

By default XSW uses the current resolution and color depth of your operating system. Try lowering resolution and or color depth to gain performance (note: 8 bit color wont work, any other setting should be fine).

Pressing f10 will show your frame rate in the upper left corner of the screen.

I Experience considerable lag when playing:

Make sure you don't have any bandwidth hogging programs (such as file sharing programs) running in the background.

If you are at a location very far from the server there might be a considerable delay on messages sent from the server. One option then is to host your own server or try finding a server with lower ping.
